just came back from the dentist

CellPhonePic
my mouth is throbbing... i kept saying "you are the devil" in my head to the lady cleaning my teeth, sweet holy fucking hell..that sucked... it's been 15 years since i had my teeth cleaned... she cleaned inside my gums around each tooth. -cringe-

my dental tab is getting really high.

I bought a dental discount plan to reduce the cost of everything and that was $104
first visit was $180
second visit was $133
third visit was about $200
fourth visit didn't happen like it was supposed to cause my tooth that was prepped for a crown still hurts for some reason aka.. no $ spent.
fifth visit today almost $200
next visit is gunna be $322 and the visit after that is $190 and the visit after that is gunna be $645

TOTAL: $1,974 ... >:/

Looking at the total, it's surprising that after 15 years without a trip to the dentist that is all I got goin' on.

OucH! On the pain and the bill. I never like going to the dentist. I'd rather see my girlie doc than the dentist.

*hugs*

That's another doctor I should so see, haven't had The Vag checked out in a while either.. not since slightly after I had ryan.... 3ish years ago.
I technically don't have a girlie doctor since I had them only cause i was pregnant.

I haven't been to the dentist in about as long. I just can't afford it--it's either me or Jessi, so Jessi goes.

Luckily tho, I don't have any of my teeth bothering me. My mom went to the dentist once and got a root canal and that alone was like $1200. So in the grand scheme of dental bills, it could be a ton worse!

They said i'd either end up needing a crown or a root canal for my tooth that ended up needing the crown. I told them it would have to get extracted if it came down to that cause I only have that crappy dental discount plan, I don't have real insurance.

HOw much would it be without the discount?

The discount usually cuts the price of everything in half. SOoooo.... double. I think most dentists offices accept different dental discount plans, if you ever NEED something done and you just have to go call and ask if they accept any kinda of dental discount plans and if not, hang up and call someone else.

This is the plan I bought:

Oh man it's been about that long for me too! I know I have cavities but nothing is bothering me so I''ll keep putting it off.
Damn chicka sorry to hear about that bill! make some more goodies to sell! I missed out on that pirate necklace a while ago :(

This bill now will be a lot better than 5 years from now needing like 10 crowns. You should make an appointment before you're faced with payin $1,000 or loosing a tooth. Cavities are sooo much cheaper than crowns/rootcanals

Lol, if you want that necklace... the person backed outta paying for it and I still have it.

Yeah I was trying to make an appointment this past summer but the low income clinic near me was so booked out, like more then a month I got discouraged. They also want you to call on a certain day at like 6am or some shit so I was like "eh, later".
Really! That's interesting, wasn't it on ebay? and they still backed out?
Do you have a picture of it again, I cant remember what it looked like exactly.

It was on ebay. I HATE this bullshit new ebay policy where the seller can get screwed hardcore and you can't leave negative feedback, they just got an unpaid item strike that will wear off in 6 months =p

http://synica66.livejournal.com/137899.html I could skip ebay if you really want it: $20 I'll include shipping with that & I use delivery confirmation if you want to track it before it gets there.

I keep hearing people bitching about these new ebay policies.

I'll take it, is it ok if I pay you in like 2 weeks, like the 18th?

The cost is the worst part. Glad I have insurance because I would pull my own teeth if I didn't.

My Moms lower teeth all need to be pulled and dentures made. She doesn't go out of fear but I keep riding her to get it done. I imagine that will be a helluva bill also...

The last time I had my teeth cleaned I made a comment to the receptionist that it felt like the Manson girls were let loose in my mouth. They have lined my up w/ a new hygenist even tho I told them it was my fault because of poor dental maintenence.

Pull your own teeth??! eeeeek, I can't imagine (well i kinda can) how much that would hurt... I think you would pass out before you finished.

Yeah, she numbed my mouth before she started with that topical gel saying since it had been so long it would be extra bad... She, as a person was nice, and i think she did as awesome as anyone could have done, maybe even better.. but... holy shit.. it hurt. AND she was cleaning my teeth for about an hour and a half too.. it was a long amount of pain. i asked to go to the bathroom halfway through partly to use the bathroom and partly to have a timeout and go look at my gums in the mirror, which were all bloody.

That's actually not that bad, as far as dental work goes. It could be much worse. Trust me. I really need to go to the dentist. I have no dental insurance though.
